Carrières de Maffle operates from a production site where stone working began in 1886.

Each production, each order, consumes a portion of these rocks. Imperfections, unwanted crusts, or fractures result in the company discarding vast amounts of nearly intact blue stone.

To offset these losses, the company engages in downcycling by transforming these offcuts into gravel. After analyzing their process, our focus has shifted to the previously ignored stone offcuts.

By mixing them with surplus and unused inox tube elements from Newlaser, we transform them into a lamp collection.
